Work Responsibility

Role in project:

* Ensure and maintain required standard of SAP related knowledge in URS, front stage application, test script specification, SOPs, and business training.

Role in post project:

* Deliver one-to-one coaching for new starters, those transferring into the department and/or those requiring refresher training.

Work Responsibility

Provide the New Pharmaceutical Plant Project with all HVAC system required services to designing, preparation of purchasing, installation and qualification. Establish the documentation system of the HVAC system for project meeting "state of art" standards. To provide the supervision to filed installation work and do the details design work for the installation work. Ensure the HVAC system of Pharmaceutical Plant complies with international, Chinese GMP and Novartis requirements. 1. Lead the designing work, purchasing work, installation work and the qualification work of HVAC system to satisfy the Extension Project completion, the control part is included.
2. Revise and identify the most suitable design proposal of HVAC system from the Designing Institute. And advice technically to the designer about Novartis Engineering and GMP requirements and Chinese GMP requirements
3. Provide the professional advice on HVAC system design to the project engineering team and coordinates their tasks throughout all project phases.
4. Ensures necessary communication within the project engineering team (meetings project engineering team, disciplines teams) and coordinates interfaces.
5. Prepare the "User's Requirement Specification" for all the facility of HVAC system technically.
6. Lead the technical challenge, risk analyses and required activities of qualification to the approval the technical document is included.
7. Initial and drive the purchasing activities to receive the required goods
8. Guide and supervise the site installation, meanwhile prepare the shop drawing of detailed design for the installation work, Air-handler, chiller, water pipe, air duct, valves dampers and control cabinet, sensors insulation, hangers, etc.
9. Lead the commission and qualification work of the HVAC system completed and approved.
10. Establish and maintain the whole documentation of HVAC system to meet the requirement of Global Pharma Engineering of Novartis.

Job Purpose

* Procurement of raw materials, consumables, equipment, spare parts, and services as specified and in required quantity, at best possible cost.
* Ensure that planned items to be purchased are available at ChangPing Warehouse in line with defined time-lines.
* Availability of full and up-dated Documentation with regard to purchasing activities.

Major Accountabilities

* Plan and carry out purchase of required items of the specified quality, in defined quantities and at defined times. Specification, quantities and time-lines are defined and provided by the Requisitioner.
* Obtain quotations, technical and commercial documentation for specified items from the proposed and from qualified alternative Suppliers.
* Evaluate and choose, in co-operation with QA and/or the respective user, the best possible manufacturer/supplier for the specified items, considering quality, cost (including terms of payments), insurance, time and after sales services.
* Prepare and compile all relevant commercial and technical documents to commence purchasing procedures. Ensure that all required documents can be made available, prior to placing firm orders with suppliers.
* Follow-up all purchases, including dispatch from the supplier's premises, transportation, custom's clearance, inland transportation and receipt at the ChangPing warehouse.
* Follow-up complaints and/or deviations as against the formal Purchase Order with the Manufacturer/Suppliers.
* Establish and maintain, including archiving, full documentation of purchase activities.
* Follow-up contractual payments of purchases with FI.
* Provide immediate information and a monthly summary statements on purchasing activities, e.g. status of purchases, explanations of deviations (time, cost, quality, etc.) to the relevant end-users.
* Lead effectively the purchasing team and maintain high professional and mental skill. Coach and motivate purchasing team for high performance and correct handling of purchases.

Requirements

Education/Experience Needs:

* University degree in business, or logistic-related apprenticeship in industry
* 4 years of working experience in logistics, included at least 2 year of management experience
* Experience of working in foreign owned pharmaceutical or food company is a plus, detailed knowledge of pharmaceutical operations is prefer
* Familiar with SAP or other ERP system
* Fluent in both oral and written English
* Good computer skills

Major Responsibilities

* Set and achieve regional lobbying and advocacy objectives that support the company's business plan;
