dynamics involved in commercializing
pharmaceutical products.
While our primary objectives
are strategic in nature,
the potential for strong
financial returns is one
of the key selection criteria
we use in making our investment
decisions.
Areas of specific interest
to us include health care
devices, health care information
technology and health
care services. YL will
not invest in companies
engaged in research or
development of human pharmaceuticals,
vaccines or consumer health
care products, since there
are other groups at Yalepharma
that work with those companies.
