facilitates the following
programs for firms meeting
the listed criteria:

If you are interested
in becoming a supplier
for your locally-based
YalePharma or HealthDimension
and do not want to distribute
product on a national
level, you then qualify
for our Local Purchases
Program. You may acquire
the Local Supplier Questionnaire
at any YalePharma from
the Manager or Food
Merchandiser (only).
This guide includes
step-by-step instructions
and requirements needed
to become a local supplier

this process will you
receive a supplier number.
Minority/ Women-Owned
Business Development
Program
If you're interested
in becoming a YalePharma
supplier and own a Minority/
Woman-Owned business,
you may apply through
YalePharma's Minority
& Women-Owned Business
Development Program.
Regardless of your product's
origin of manufacture,
your business can become
a part of a company-wide
mission of supporting
Minority / Woman-Owned
firms. The program requires
that you are certified
or in the certification
process through either
the National Minority
Supplier Development
Council or the Women's
Business Enterprise
National Council.
Majority Supplier Development
For all other suppliers,
your proposal packet
will be forwarded to
our Majority Supplier
Program and then sent
to the appropriate department
that purchases your
service or product.
What Will Supplier
Development Do with
My Proposal?
Once your proposal has
been assembled and forwarded
to the appropriate program
within Supplier Development,
we will see that the
appropriate purchasing
agent or buyer reviews
your product or service.
The buyer then decides
whether they wish to
pursue a supplier relationship
with your company. The
buyer might then schedule
a meeting to discuss
business opportunities
or they may simply send
written correspondence.
Regardless of whether
your product or service
is purchased by YalePharma,
you will receive the
purchasing agent’s response
directly from Supplier
Development. Supplier
Development makes no
buying decisions.
